Go 5600X. It also runs the coolest between both, which really helps with thermals. Effective performance will likely be similar in multicore because of that

@dondan Why not do both? I'd buy spacers in a heartbeat for my v4.1, and then buy a bigger A4 in the future if the current trend of top end GPUs going away from dual slot becomes the norm edit: an extra thought - if you did both, you could sell the v5 with 50mm of GPU space for 2.5 slot cards...
