Concept Why has no one made a titanium case?

for the same amount of cost, you can get more aluminium and make the case thicker and feel more steady. TItanium is not as easy to work with as aluminium and would limit the designer's creativity.

Concept A brave fantasy: GPU + CPU + HBM on a single package

one of the things that are limiting gan fets from trickle down to the consumer products is the lack of infrastructure of current power stages. There are only a handful of integrated gan fet power stages with integrated driver ic and necessary features build into one chip. There is always a route...

Concept A brave fantasy: GPU + CPU + HBM on a single package

You know, I have been stumble upon this topic just days after I reply to the thread and I started digging into it(I'm not an electrical engineer btw, just some hobbyist). From the information I have gathered in couple of days. This is really revolutionary stuff, and the world is ready to adopt...

Concept A brave fantasy: GPU + CPU + HBM on a single package

interesting. This theoretically will work, we just need to see what direction does the big boy chip makers takes. One thing I would like to point out is the studies never shown how clean the output is.

Concept A brave fantasy: GPU + CPU + HBM on a single package

this would theoretically work but the amount of heat from such a fets would be tremendous . I don't see the datasheet with the part you posted, so i can't work out the efficiency curve. this is a nightmare to cool. potentially producing more heat than core itself.

Motherboard i7 8700 with 64gb RAM on ITX?

no they're not ecc. the chips on them are support ecc but the memory sticks are not ecc. look at their compatibility list. It's for core series processors

Motherboard i7 8700 with 64gb RAM on ITX?

I don't understand why they even bother with these retarded designs. we have large enough memory dies to achieve 32gb non ecc sticks for a long time now. Heck, even a store on ebay made their own 32gb non-ecc ddr4 sodimm.

Concept A brave fantasy: GPU + CPU + HBM on a single package

12v rails are usually available at the power supply. If psu spit out 48v and turn into 1v using mosfets on the pcb, enormous amount of heat would be created, thus inefficient. whereas using high frequency transformers in psu to convert 300+v to 12v would be much more efficient and compatible...

Motherboard i7 8700 with 64gb RAM on ITX?

actually, 32gb sticks non ecc does exist https://www.anandtech.com/show/13579/in-the-lab-double-capacity-2x32gb-ddr4-from-gskill-and-zadak the engineer must be on crack to design such a monstrosity

Motherboard i7 8700 with 64gb RAM on ITX?

You can use xeon tho. There must be a xeon equivalent to 8700. It should be exactly the same just with ecc support which would allow you to go nuts with the memory

News RTX 2070 Mini from Zotac

this card is around half an inch taller, might not fit some cases

News RTX 2070 Mini from Zotac

to be honest, this pcb is too long. obviously they just slap a custom cooler on top of the reference pcb and call it the mini. Instead of designing a custom pcb. If anyone wants to water block a 2070, they can just by and reference card

Search: smallest, low price case for video editing PC

I would recommend getting a more expensive case. It looks better, feel better and of course more durable. especially if you're planning to carry it around. It's probably something you would not regret because it's going to pay off in the long run.

Question to anyone who has imported an SFF case to their country...

You might have run into a problem. DHL is usually the quickest international postal service out there. The last time i shipped some products from china. It only took like 3 days to get to LA.

    Beginning my first SFF adventure

I believe the connector on the psu is usually different than other case fans on the market. You might have to look into that
