Lets talk OG SFF Cases. Who do you think started it? Where did you start?

For me it was the original steam machine concept that got me interested in SFF. Then my first case was a Fractal Node 304.

    Concept Necere's concept/ideation thread

This is true. It's the same argument as internal vs external psu. You can mount the dock somewhere inconspicuous but the fact remains you're still adding volume somewhere. I still prefer it though. My TV has one cable that comes out of the back and leads to a small box that contains all the...

    Concept Necere's concept/ideation thread

One thing I've thought about with vertical cases is that you could really reduce the height if you used a thunderbolt 3 dock. Too bad there are so few it's boards that support thunderbolt 3.

I'd kill for that verical case, minus the front IO. Prefer it was just a power button there.

    News Airtop 2 - Passively-cooled SFF?

Wow, that's amazing. I mean it seems perfect except the price and the aesthetics. Over $2300 without RAM, storage, etc? Doesn't seem like an unfair price given the features but not really a price I can personally justify. I wonder if they could make a cheaper, lighter version that uses a couple...

Prototype The world most flexible SFF case? LOUQE Ghost S1

Nice! I honestly think a product like that would be amazing for SFF but also for other PC hardware enthusiasts who want an air cooler with all the benefits of an AIO.

Prototype The world most flexible SFF case? LOUQE Ghost S1

I'm personally confused that you found the Shadow Rock LP to be 9c cooler at 13% less fan power than the Big Shuriken yet was 2db louder. Is the heatsink design really so bad that the airflow through the heatsink is causing that much extra noise? I think the comments he was referring to are the...
