Power Supply picoPSU (dc-dc hdplex or dynamo mini) safe to use without load on 24pin?

hi, would it be safe to have zero load 24pin? I want to build an enclosure with 2.5 hdds and due to various reasons I already have 6x2.5 hdd and spare hdplex 160w picopsu+dell power brick. I think it will be at least for 8x2.5 hdd and I don't plan to put any load on 24pin. I will use a...

Power Supply flexATX/SFX to power multiple low power 12v devices (barrel plug)?

well, this one https://www.edac.com.tw/comm/upfile/p_160819_07299.pdf is pretty small. I have EA1024HR-120 ( EA1024HY on the list). it is 12v 2.5a. there is also alternatives from EDAC Power but their offerings are kinda bigger and a bit more powerful in the same form factor.

Power Supply flexATX/SFX to power multiple low power 12v devices (barrel plug)?

hi, I currently migrated homelab to Intel NUCs with 10w cpus and for my needs they are working great. my only problem is power bricks/power adapters. devices themself can run from 12v without any problem (I currently use 12v 2.5a power adapters without any issue). so to escape cable...

Motherboard Smallest stx or Mobo for i7 8700k

so you can actually undervolt. on linux it is msr-tools. on windows xtu might work... so it is possible. I just tested it and it works just fine with voltage offset. -70mv for stock frequencies to be stable.

Motherboard Smallest stx or Mobo for i7 8700k

asrock h310m-stx or h310m-stx/com. no need for PicoPSU since it accepts 19v/dc over barrel plug. you can't undervolt there but you can set thermal limits.

Any NAS Case similar to HP Microserver GEN8?

http://www.chenbro.com/en-global/products/TowerServerChassis/Mini_ITX_Server/SR301 chenbro sr301 might be worth checking out. U-NAS cases would still be smaller.

dan a4-sfx compatible (mounts) reiser with bifurcation support?

hi, is there such thing? some Reiser that we could mount internally and have two pci-e slots (we have two pci-e brackets) I have little to not interest in extra video card but would be glad to build a 'workstation' there using extra ssds with pci-e switch and 10g card. thank you.

    Concept Pure NAS project

I would love to get 2.5 inch based NAS and bring hardware of my choice. it would be much better if mounted 2.5 drives (not hot swappable) could be taken out without unmounting the rest of the drives. how high is the minimum order number would be? 7mm is the height of modern 2.5 2T drives...

    Concept Pure NAS project

unas is still quite huge and their power/hotswap solution could be better (it is horrible with that molex). as a good example of small and powerful nas appliance I would recommend checking out Synology ds1819+ and ds918+. I personally could not find anything that could beat ds1819+ with what...

Power Supply 19v 5.5/2.5 barrel plug power brick, biggest wattage available? >120w

Thank you, this chicony 19v 10.5a power adapter fits very well for what i want to use it for. I don’t think it is good idea to get a different plug since all other devices here run from 19v barrel plug psu.
