well, this one https://www.edac.com.tw/comm/upfile/p_160819_07299.pdf is pretty small. I have EA1024HR-120 ( EA1024HY on the list). it is 12v 2.5a. there is also alternatives from EDAC Power but their offerings are kinda bigger and a bit more powerful in the same form factor.

so you can actually undervolt. on linux it is msr-tools. on windows xtu might work... so it is possible. I just tested it and it works just fine with voltage offset. -70mv for stock frequencies to be stable.

asrock h310m-stx or h310m-stx/com. no need for PicoPSU since it accepts 19v/dc over barrel plug. you can't undervolt there but you can set thermal limits.

I would love to get 2.5 inch based NAS and bring hardware of my choice. it would be much better if mounted 2.5 drives (not hot swappable) could be taken out without unmounting the rest of the drives. how high is the minimum order number would be? 7mm is the height of modern 2.5 2T drives...

Thank you, this chicony 19v 10.5a power adapter fits very well for what i want to use it for. I don’t think it is good idea to get a different plug since all other devices here run from 19v barrel plug psu.
