I was able to get mine to line up with 3 of the VESA mount holes. You don't need all 4, my 3 hold it fine. Depending on which size mount you have, maybe all 4 will line up?

By measuring, it was only ~1/16" too long. I figured the case would flex enough but it didn't. I had the motherboard, drives etc in there when I installed the GPU, I couldn't get the right angle to get it in. If building in an empty case and putting it in there first you might be able to do it...

For a s4m, you'll need a gpu that fits and find a way to plug it in

all I did was get the 8" female to 8 pins. I want the female/matching gpu port so it'll be nearly impossible to plug the pins in wrong. What I plan to do is leave the kareon adapter 8" then I'll trim/solder/shrink the pcie wire going to it if I need to. Getting a custom length male to 8-pins is...
