I'd happily pay an extra $10 for a metal mesh / non-fabric front.

Definitely looks great. Hopefully gamersnexus will test the D12L too so we can tell how it compares to the PA120 mini they recently tested.

Right. There are two possible m.2 heatsinks the LF III could be coming into contact with - an m.2 heatsink that came preinstalled on an nvme he purchased or the m.2 heatsink included with the B650E-I that's part of the m.2 sandwich stack. It's not clear which one he is using in his example...

I'm also using a B650E-I and am interested in the possibility of using a Liquid Freezer III 280 in the C4 SFX with this motherboard. When you say that the LF III "leans a bit" on the SSD tower sandwich are you using a bare m.2 with no heatsink, an m.2 drive with the m.2 heatsink that comes with...

The B650E-I has an m.2 riser *and* a heatsink for the pcie 5 slot on the front of the board. I think without any m.2 heatsink at all on the front m.2 slot (or even just using the rear m.2 slot for your boot drive) you could still end up with compatibility issues due to the riser.

Does the 4.4 slot GPU support mentioned in these renders indicate an increase in vertical volume for the GPU chamber? An increase in compatibility with thicker 40 series GPUs / more flexibility for using thicker fans when deshrouding GPUs would make V2 a huge upgrade over V1 for me. EDIT: Just...

D12L clearly the limit for air cooler size with side bracket installed. Maybe PS120SE would fit without it? The V2 renders mention "optimized AIO bracket for mATX D12 compatibility", but it's not immediately clear to me how exactly the AIO bracket was changed or how that change might positively...

Thought about this case more and might give it a go for air cooling. Roughly 50% more volume than many ITX cases, but the flexibility of having so many fan mount options on the top / side / rear is tempting. That's just an absolute ton of fan capacity for a 26L case. I'm curious whether the...

I also prefer air coolers and agree that it's very hard to find anything AIO wise that offers practical *cpu cooling* benefits vs top tier current gen air coolers like the PS120SE when cpu cooler height isn't constrained. That said the flexibility of being able to directly exhaust cpu heat /...

Now that the A3 has grown in size all the way from the original sub 20L design to the current 26L it'd be really nice to see 5-15mm more AIO clearance at the top of the case for thicker rad + fan combos than the max 27mm rad / 25mm fan that the current 55mm top AIO clearance spec appears to be...

Is there an updated timeline for US availability for the C4-SFX? I thought it was going to be available late May, but I'm still not able to find it for sale anywhere.

Don't buy anything until you can build / test the full system right away. If your GPU is DOA, your motherboard has annoying coil whine, your RAm / mobo don't play well together you'll want to know asap so you can return/ exchange the affected parts quickly. This is even more of an issue with...

You could save another +/- $60 going for the Thermalright Silver Soul 135 instead of the D12L too. It's also featured on the C4-SFX "Recommended Heatsinks" list (https://www.dan-cases.com/c4sfx_spec.html). There are also cheaper / similarly performing NVME drives for your 2TB / 4TB boot /...

Not worth $100-150 for 1-2% performance boost? Also, the X3D chips aren't eligible for the free Jedi Survivor game promo so if you value that game at anything close to the $60 retail pricing that widens the price gap even further.

Wild. It looks like the 7950X performs significantly better at 125W. The reviewers 125w numbers for the 7950X are almost identical to what I'm getting from my air cooled 7950X in 105W eco mode. The 7950X also appears better at 170w (7950X's stock TDP) although the reviewer doesn't actually...
