Couple of questions folks.
Is anyone using a Cryorig C7 in their sentry? How bearable is the fan turbulence when the case is closed? (Noctua fan)
Can anyone confirm whether the C7 fits the ASUS B550 I board or if it has interference issues like the x570?
Any benefit to mounting a slim 120mm...
I see what you mean now. Re-reading the C7G description most of it is new marketing copy, until you reach the technical details which are only partly updated.
- Dimensions: 97 x 47 x 97 mm (W x H x D)
- Weight: Without fan: 295 g / With fan: 357 g
- Material: nickel plated...
Yep no problem man I’m just about home so I’ll do that and update. Where did you order yours from?
I didn’t realise the fan supplied with L9i is different to the A9x14 :( damn I’ll need to have a read and maybe return the one I have.
My delivery arrived this morning :) Cryorig C7G and a NF-A9x14 to go with it. I’m excited to say fan clips are now a thing and are included with the cooler.
Would happily test and do a mini review but I’m waiting to make the jump from my 3770k to Ryzen.
For a small cooler it sure does weigh...
#296 here :) You guys are doing a great job. Was dissapointed to miss out on the first version so happy to be a part of this one.
I was wondering, have you tested the NH-L9i with a 120 x 25mm fan in this position? Interested to know how it compares to using the stock Noctua fan.
