The the mic right on the top-most fans, at load, 42 dBA, 30ish from my vantage point, a nice baritone wind from the 80mms at peak. It's not the quietest in the world, I opted for better temps!

Going to do some cable management next week for sure.

The original configuration of the provided fan (a Nidec UltraFlo) was set to pull air away. I tested both scenarios, found an average of 2-3C degrees cooler at load this way, stuck with it.

I use the X11SSV-M4 as my primary workstation, neat little board. Replaced the CPU fan with a Noctua PWM, I love the board.

+1 on the PCI slot covers, would be rad for the two L4's I've ordered.

My two cents: I'm all for either the single or dual, would prefer the single. I picked up a Nvidia Quadro K1200 for work and light gaming, it also sips vs. gulps on the power front. I think the compromises are actually a good thing, but that's just me. Whatever happens, I'm in for at least two...

L1 user here, been waiting for the follow-up to the L3 for my next system. Really like the idea that the L4 can sustain 2x 2.5 mounts behind the motherboard, registered to encourage that it remain on the L4 and give props. Glad you stuck to the Lone Industries name, keep up the great work.
