I just got done doing this mod to the waterblock, i ended up just using a Dremel and the 3mm drill bit to chip away at the edge until there was enough space for the component to fit under it. Havent seen my temps go above 45c yet but the best part is, silence, finally :) I might try to sleeve...

I have this same block and plan to put it on my RTX 4000 also, what tool did you use to shave down that one part? Will a dremel be strong enough?
